Meet the Tokyo Host Olympic Golf Course Designer



Back in the day, Kasumigaseki members would constantly complain about the golf course… They complained it was too good.

It’s one of Japan’s top golf courses for nearly a century, and now Kasumigaseki holds the honor of hosting the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo. We came across this classic Wonderful World of Golf segment from 1963 that touches on the sweeping craze of Japanese golf back then, as well as introducing us to the man who designed the course, Kinya Fujita.
